Description
Peter gives J. Jonah Jameson a piece of his mind after he’s fired from the Bugle for asking a simple question. He feels that Jameson isn’t being straight with him so that the newspaperman doesn’t have to face up to some bad decision making going into his endorsement of District Attorney candidate, Sam Bullit. Bullit’s got ties to the Kingpin and Peter’s upset that the Kingpin has beaten a murder rap.
Peter’s rage at this injustice expresses itself in class when he instigates an argument with his teacher and finds himself on the wrong end of a suspension from school.
Meanwhile, in a routine interview with Bugle repirter Ben Urich, Sam Bullit paints himself into a corner while discussing his anti-Spider-man election platform and the public perception of the Kingpin,Wilson Fisk, as a criminal. Urich is surprised to find himself the subject of some threatening words. A sequence of events that has Jameson doubting his decision to endorse Bullit for DA.
