Omega The Unknown #03

A tale of two personas! James-Michael starts his first day in public school, while Omega struggles to free himself from the clutches of Electro!

The doctors continue to be confounded by James-Michael, now because of his strange “fainting spell” after Omega fought the Hulk.

Electro has made Omega his prisoner. He wants him to fix the alien robot that Omega defeated earlier. Omega breaks free, but accidentally revives the robot, and is caught again.

James-Michael goes to his first day of school ever, since he was previously home-schooled. This school is full of chaos, and he navigates it with difficulty. He meets a girl, Dian, who helps him acclimate, as well as a boy, John Nedly. However, he also has repeated run-ins with a bully, Nick.

Electro makes a deal with the robot. It will help him make a score in return for Electro’s aid in getting a full-time charge of energy. Omega will also belong to the robot.

When they go, Omega breaks free once again.

The kids leave school, but Nick punches James-Michael. He has never seen the illogical use of force like this, and can’t conceive of how to react. Amber picks him up just in time. When they get back to their apartment, they see a telethon that Electro has taken over. He wants the money for himself, and has the robot for help.

Omega shows up, defeats the robot, and fights Electro. It is a stalemate until a kid with the problem the telethon was for knocks Electro down from behind, and Omega defeats him.
