While moping about his loneliness and of missing Karen Page, Daredevil comes across a hippie couple being attacked by a gang. DD rescues the couple and the gang flee, revealing they were hired by someone to acquire guinea pigs for an experiment. Meanwhile at the offices of Nelson & Murdoch, Foggy Nelson is threatened by a voice on the phone and is in no mood to help the couple DD has brought over with their case. Daredevil then takes the hippies to his “friend” Matt Murdoch’s house and tells them they’ll be safe here. Elsewhere, as the gang failed to acquire the guinea pigs their leader has to take part in the experiment. This of course goes horribly wrong and he turns into a mutated Man-Bull, vowing revenge on Daredevil.
Note: Mr. Kline doesn’t actually make an “appearance” but he speaks on the phone.
