Death of the Silver Age Supergirl

As time itself seemed to unravel all across the globe, new heroes continued to sprout up to face the dire threat posed by the Anti-Monitor, including a new female Wildcat. Writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez assembled a group of heroes from the five remaining earths and sent them into the antimatter universe to storm the Anti-Monitor’s own fortress. While the heroes succeeded in destroying the villains home, the price was high as Earth-1’s Supergirl was killed in battle.
