He doesn’t take the rejection well and goes to Monster Planet to recruit members for a Legion of Monsters to steal the rarest of all jewels. His Legion of Super-Monsters comes into conflict with the Legion of Superheroes. A gas monster that Jungle King rejected, calling himself Monster Master now, returned and killed him. Â
